Hello there!
Hello, I’m Lacy Freeman. I paint and illustrate, repurpose old furniture, and make a variety of things.
I'm quite fond of strong colors and textures, but I try to use a wide range of styles to always match the tone of the project I'm working on.
I also do quite a bit of decorating with thrift store and flea market finds. I love seeking out original, one-of-a-kind items.
I've recently relocated to the Atlanta area. I quit my day job and am looking forward to turning my passions into a profession. I enjoy painting, making art, and do lots of crafts. Ever since I was little I've had a strong interest in pretty things and was forever finding a way to have or make things more beautiful. I guess it only makes sense that I’m completely self-taught in most of the things I do (with much inspiration from my family, friends and fellow artists).
Originally from Florida, I now live in Atlanta with my lovely husband Chris and our two lazy hounds Earl and Jay.
Here you'll find some of my recent projects and a few items for sale. Have a look around and if you're interested in working together, get in touch!
